We have several local missions to help show the love of Jesus to those in need. All of our services are free and we will always pray for you!

Dare to Share

Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth" - Acts 1:8
ArCares - At Risk Mothers
This program focuses on breaking the cycle of maternal addiction.
It is a program for pregnant women or mothers with children under age 12. Most women served by Arkansas CARES enter the program single, poor, unemployed, with health problems. Substance abuse and mental illness are treated as well, with the goal of keeping families united during and after treatment. To see how you can help with Sardis' mission to ArCares, contact Lauri at 501-557-2129.
Methodist Family Boys and Girls Home
The Methodist Family Health Group Homes provide a family-like setting in the community while, at the same time, offering necessary emotional treatment. Group Homes are part of the Methodist Children’s Home inpatient residential program. For more information about helping with our missions to these Boys and Girls, contact Lorelei at 501-557-2129.
Feeding the Least of Us
The Fourth Wednesday night of every month, Sardis UMC travels to Canvas UMC in Little Rock to prepare a meal for the homeless. We take seriously Jesus' charge to feed the hungry and would love for you to come and join us! For more information, contact Melinda at 501-557-2129.
"For this is what the Lord has commanded us: “I have made you a light for the Gentiles,
that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” - Acts 13:47
The missions team of Sardis UMC decided to prayerfully seek a mission to support. We wanted to be able to support them prayerfully and financially but also with our physical presence and service. We decided to help Adonai International Ministries (AIM) in Canilla, Guatemala. We made to make a trip to Guatemala to see first hand what God was doing there. When the mission team returned home, everyone was very excited and agreed unanimously this is the ministry we wanted to support. We are planning to do a return trip to Guatemala in 2018. For more information, call the Church office.
When disasters happen, it is local churches that provide the first response to their communities. Pastor Troy is a long-time Disaster Response for UMCOR and when disaster strikes in Arkansas, Sardis is ready to help.
